18364Alisher Kadyrov, a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Supreme Council of the Chechen Republic and head of the Democratic Party "Milliy Tiklanish" faction, stated that Russia's invasion of Ukraine could be justified under certain conditions. He expressed this view on his Telegram channel.
According to Kadyrov, the invasion may be justified if it results in Eurasia breaking away from U.S. influence and developing through collective agreements based on equality and non-violence.
“However, if neo-imperialism leads the U.S. to impose the same kind of relationship on others that it has offered Ukraine—‘freedom to the extent permitted and peace at the expense of mineral wealth’—then humanity is in for very dark days,” Kadyrov warned.
He also referenced the book "The Grand Chessboard" by Zbigniew Brzezinski, a former U.S. national security adviser, which discusses America's influence in Eurasia.
“The U.S. has never had a decisive say on the Eurasian continent. If the opportunity that arose after World War II is used wisely, the U.S. will become the locomotive of world development,” reads an excerpt from the book.
Additionally, Kadyrov mentioned French President Emmanuel Macron’s remarks on U.S.-EU relations. Referring to Donald Trump's promise to impose tariffs on European goods, Macron emphasized that Europe must break free from a state of "happy vassalage."
"Our response to the U.S. must be that we are against it. We must restore the sense of risk, passion, and strength," the French leader stated.
