55-year-old Uzbek dies in an accident in Russia

A 55-year-old Uzbek citizen was killed in a traffic accident in the Tyumen region of Russia. This was reported by the Tyumen regional office of the "Gosavtoinspektsia" of Russia.

The accident occurred when a GAZ truck and a VAZ 2107 collided on the 178th kilometer of the Tyumen-Khanty-Mansiysk highway. According to preliminary information, one of the vehicles veered into the opposite lane. The 24-year-old truck driver was injured, and both vehicles sustained significant damage.

According to the Tyumen region's traffic police, the driver of the Lada vehicle died at the scene. The victim was a 55-year-old Uzbek citizen, who was reportedly living in Russia illegally. The name of the deceased was not disclosed in the report.

Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the circumstances of the accident.
