Criminal case opened against hooligans who beat up Uzbeks in Russia

Earlier, it was reported that a group of local youths beat up migrants, allegedly from Uzbekistan, on Khabarovskaya Street in Vladivostok, Russia. A criminal case has been opened against these teenagers suspected of hooliganism by the Primorsky Territory Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

It was reported that on the night of September 10, 2025, the investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Primorsky Territory opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation against a 15-year-old teenager suspected of hooliganism and his other accomplices on the territory of Khabarovskaya Street in Vladivostok.

According to the investigation, on September 10, 2025, the teenagers, while intoxicated, caused unprovoked damage to a parked car and sprayed aerosol cans into the interior.

The accused also assaulted the truck driver. In addition, the suspects broke into a 24-hour convenience store on Khabarovskaya Street and assaulted a male driver in front of salespeople and customers. Then the accused attacked the taxi driver and the passenger in the car.

In addition, minors stood on the street, shouting loudly, using stones and other improvised means as weapons, and assaulted a man in gross public disorder.

It is reported that the identity of the accused has been determined, one of them has been arrested, and two are wanted.

“The suspects are of a negative nature and have already come to the attention of law enforcement agencies. One of them is a defendant in a criminal case on hooliganism in the Nadezhda store. The criminal case is being considered in court. Currently, investigators of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation are establishing all the circumstances of the incident. Emergency assistance in the criminal case is being provided by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Primorsky Territory,” the report of the Investigative Committee in the Primorsky Territory says.

It should be noted that earlier, the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok, Yusuf Qabiljanov, reported that as soon as this case was discovered, on the initiative of the employees of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok, emergency contact was established with the injured citizens and legal assistance was provided to them.

In addition, Uzbek citizens submitted an official application to the Vladivostok Department of Internal Affairs, and notes were sent to the Representative Office of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Vladivostok and the Prosecutor's Office of the Primorsky Territory on the need to take all appropriate measures on this issue. This case is under separate control of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok and Russian law enforcement agencies.
