Between January-September 2022, the inflow of foreign labor migrants in the Russian Federation increased by 30% compared to the same period in 2021.  Igor Barinov, head of the Federal Agency for Ethnic affairs, told the TV channel “Russia-24” about this in an interview.

"In comparison with 2021, the flow of foreign labor migrants increased by 30%, primarily representatives of the Central Asian republics, these three entities - Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan, actually the entire volume of migration flow corresponds to the balance of these entities”, - the report said.

According to Barinov, agreements on the establishment of pre-migration training centers with Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan will be signed in the near future.
The Head of the Federal Agency for Ethnic affairs also noted that such a center operates in Uzbekistan.
