Uzbek migrant worker dies at construction site in Leningrad region

The body of a 23-year-old Uzbek worker was found at a construction site in the Leningrad region of Russia, according to a report by Channel 47.

The tragic discovery was made on February 2, when police in the Vsevolozhsky district were informed about a body found on the 16th floor of a newly constructed building on Tulip Street.

According to available information, the deceased was employed as a general laborer at the construction site but was not officially registered in the Leningrad region.

To determine the cause of death, authorities have ordered a forensic medical examination, and an investigation is currently underway.

It should be noted that earlier, at approximately 11:30 p.m., another Uzbek citizen, aged 42, who worked as a metal structure assembler, fell from a height of 30 meters and died at a construction site in the Krakolye quarter near Ust-Luga, Kingisepp district, also in the Leningrad region.
