Three citizens of the Krasnoyarsk Territory were poisoned with an initial diagnosis of botulism. This was caused by corn imported from Uzbekistan.  This was reported by Rospotrebnadzor.

According to experts, the victims consumed corn boiled in vacuum packaging (450 g) produced by A.I.M-SHAMSHOD (Uzbekistan).

It was determined that the product was delivered to Krasnoyarsk Territory, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo and Omsk Regions, Altai Territory, Republic of Khakassia, Republic of Buryatia, and Trans-Baikal Territory.

All products sent to stores will be recalled and confiscated.  The importer is subject to an unscheduled inspection.

"If you suddenly bought this corn, do not eat it under any circumstances!", the official message said.

It is noted that the situation remains under the strict control of Rospotrebnadzor.
