It was reported that members of the working group, made up of representatives of several agencies, found out where children were being kept in different Russian cities, and the state of their health, and collected the necessary documents.  Each of the children retrieved during the trip was medically examined by Healthcare Ministry staff and brought home.

During this process, Children Rights representative Aliya Yunusova met with the Children's Rights representative under the President's Office of the Russian Federation M.A. Lvova-Belova. In a dialogue with Lvova-Belova, she considered the possibility of helping the children, citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who were left without parental care, to be taken out to Uzbekistan in an organized manner.  The Russian side provided assistance in the issue of the temporary placement of children.
