It has been revealed that an employer in Russia beat and induced Uzbeks into forced labor

In the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation, it was revealed that an employer had taken the personal documents of Uzbek citizens and induced them into forced labor.  This is reported by the press service under the Agency for Foreign Labor Migration.

It turned out that the employer took all the documents from the Uzbeks and using violence, forced them to work.  Moreover, he didn’t even pay them a month’s salary.

A representative of the agency for Foreign Labour Migration in Volgograd organized a raid on the enterprise with the management of the regional department of Internal Affairs to study the application.  The agency is responsible for the investigation of this case.  The raid involved all law enforcement agencies in the region.

As a result, the employer was arrested and prosecuted.  Passports and monthly salaries of Uzbek citizens were handed over.
