Saida Mirziyoyeva highlights women’s empowerment in talks with Carol Miller

On March 19, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Presidential Assistant and eldest daughter of Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a meeting with U.S. Congresswoman Carol Miller, a member of the U.S.-Uzbekistan parliamentary caucus. Mirziyoyeva shared details of the meeting on her social media accounts.

During their discussion, Mirziyoyeva and Miller exchanged views on strengthening Uzbekistan-U.S. relations.

“We discussed reforms in education, expanding the rights and opportunities of women, and enhancing collaboration with Congress in these areas. I am grateful to Ms. Miller for the engaging conversation and her support,” Mirziyoyeva stated.

On March 17, Congresswoman Carol Miller was first received in Tashkent by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baxtiyor Saidov, and later by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
