The case of a bride's suicide, whose photos were published, will be re-examined – the Prosecutor General’s Office

The case in which a 19-year-old girl hanged herself in Urgut district of Samarkand region will be re-examined.  This was reported by the Press Service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

It is reported that, according to the results of the investigation conducted by the Urgut district prosecutor’s office in this case, no criminal elements and criminal events were found in the actions of any person.  A decision has been made.

This decision was studied by the prosecutor’s office of Samarkand region in the control procedure and cancelled.  Also, an instruction was given to carry out comprehensive, complete and impartial additional verification actions regarding the situation.

“The legal decision made based on the results of the additional investigation will be announced to the general public,” the prosecutor’s office said.

It should be recalled that on 3 March this year, a woman born in 2004, hanged herself for unknown reasons.  According to information, the husband of the deceased posted a photo of the woman on a channel created with an obscene name on the Telegram messenger.  When this photo was examined, it was found that the clothes of the girls were present in it, and there were no defamatory, humiliating or indecent signs.  For this reason, the initiation of a criminal case in this case was cancelled.
