Rano Yarasheva and Dilnoza Kubayeva were awarded the title of Meritorious Artist of Karakalpakstan

Yesterday 15 November, a group of theater actors was awarded with the highest awards of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

Mirzagul Sapayeva, People's Artist of Uzbekistan and Honored Artist of Turkmenistan, was awarded the title of "People's Artist of Karakalpakstan" at the jubilee party organized in connection with her 60th birthday.

Actors of the National Academic Drama Theater of Uzbekistan - honored artists of Uzbekistan Hojiakbar Komilov and Rano Yarasheva and actress Dilnoza Kubayeva were awarded the title of "Honored Artist of Karakalpakstan".

Also, vocal artists of Karakalpak State Academic Musical Theater named after Berdak - Gulsara Jumaniyazova, Sulukhan Ganiyeva and Kupjursin Allanazarov - were awarded the title of "Honored Artist of Karakalpakstan".

QALAMPIR.UZ reporter contacted Rano Yarasheva and Dilnoza Kubayeva and asked for their impressions.

"I have been to all districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, participated in spiritual and propaganda events, and had meetings with our people as long as our work is taken into account. Several times we performed together with our colleagues from Karakalpakstan.  For example, Marat Azimov staged Orozboy Abdurahmanov's play "Stubborn" in our "Milliy" theater, this play has been performed for ten years.  I will play the role of Oftoboyim there.  Together with Karakalpak actors, we also performed the play "The Past Days."  I received the title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 1999.  23 years later, she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.  This is a very proud moment for me, it reflects the love two people have for each other," says Rano Yarasheva.

Dilnoza Kubayeva, who has been in the world of cinema and theater for 20 years, said that it was unexpected for her that her name was announced after the mentor artists.

"In Karakalpakstan, we are showing the plays "Otgan kunlar" and "Ojarlar."  These performances are well received by the audience with great respect and applause. Then yesterday turned into a big holiday for us.  It was unexpected and very gratifying for me that my last name was announced after my teachers Hojiakbar Komilov and Rano Yarasheva," said Kubayeva.
