27 documents were signed following Putin's visit to Uzbekistan

During Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Tashkent, delegations from Russia and Uzbekistan approved 26 documents, including agreements, memoranda, and protocols. Additionally, the leaders of both countries signed a joint statement.

The signing ceremony occurred with the leaders of Russia and Uzbekistan in attendance.

In Tashkent, various intergovernmental agreements were signed, covering joint film production, collaboration in sanitation and epidemiology, and technical assistance in metrology.

Programs to boost tourism in 2025-2026 and cultural cooperation from 2024-2026 were also approved.

Contracts were established for opening branches of N.E. Bauman Moscow State Technical University and the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade in Uzbekistan. Plans were made to construct a nuclear power plant in the republic using Russian designs.

Action plans were adopted to expand industrial cooperation, enhance mutual cooperation in key areas, increase trade, develop plant quarantine cooperation, implement Sberbank pilot projects in Tashkent, and collaborate between local authorities and “Gazprom Neft.”

Furthermore, memorandums on mutual understanding and experience exchange in transport engineering and aviation system development were signed.

Before the negotiations began, Putin announced a substantial set of documents would be signed, aiming to foster comprehensive cooperation between Moscow and Tashkent.
