Putin awarded Mirziyoyev the Alexander Nevsky Order

8709On 15 September, president of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met and held negotiations with the president of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
Mirziyoyev met Putin on the threshold of the congress center in Samarkand. They stood for a brief conversation, after which they entered the Convention Center and continued the informal conversation there. Before the official meeting, the presidents followed protocol and took a photo.
As expected, the leaders discussed a wide range of issues between Moscow and Tashkent, paying special attention to trade and economic cooperation. As a result, a declaration on a comprehensive strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan was signed.
At the meeting, Putin awarded his colleague the Alexander Nevsky Order for great services in strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Its should be recalled that on 23 July 2022, Vladimir Putin awarded the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Order of Alexander Nevsky.
