Former Internal Affairs Minister Pulat Bobojonov joins presidential administration

General-Lieutenant Pulat Razzokovich Bobojonov, who has been serving as the Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, has been appointed as the Deputy Advisor on Personnel Policy to the President of Uzbekistan. This information was announced by the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Shokhruh Giyosov.

Additionally, by the decree of the President of Uzbekistan, General-Major Aziz Anvarovich Toshpulatov, who has been serving as the head of the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs, has been appointed as the new Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

For context, Pulat Bobojonov has been serving as the Minister of Internal Affairs since 2017. Before this, he held various positions, including Governor of the Khorezm region, Prosecutor of the Bukhara region, Prosecutor of the Jizzakh region, Head of the Department for Combating Tax and Currency Crimes at the General Prosecutor's Office, and Deputy Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan.
