French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has reportedly expressed interest in signing Uzbek defender Abdukadir Khusanov, who currently plays for Lens. This news was shared by "Footmercato".
According to the report, PSG’s sporting director, Luís Campos, is actively negotiating the transfer of the 20-year-old talent. Campos is keen to bring the young defender to the Parisian club.
Previously, Khusanov had drawn attention from several English Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Newcastle, and Arsenal. However, PSG appears to be taking concrete steps to secure his transfer.
This season, Khusanov has made 12 appearances for Lens and is valued at €5 million.
It is worth noting that Khusanov was earlier nicknamed the "Eastern Predator" on the official website of the French Ligue 1, highlighting his strong performances in the league.
