Presidential Administration confirms continuity in key posts

The positions of six senior officials within the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan have remained unchanged. This was announced by Presidential Spokesperson Sherzod Asadov.
The officials are as follows:

Shuhrat Madaminovich Ganiev, Advisor to the President on Agrarian Development. He served as the governor of the Fergana region from 2012 to 2020, and from September 25, 2020, held the role of Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Agrarian and Food Complex. In January 2023, he became Deputy Advisor to the President on the development of economic sectors, and the implementation of investment and foreign trade policy.

Tursinkhon Aydarovich Khudayberganov, Advisor to the President on Sustainable Development of the Aral Sea Region. He worked in leadership roles within the district and regional internal affairs system for many years. He served as Minister of Emergency Situations from 2010 to 2016 and again as Acting Minister from 2018 to 2022.

Viktor Vladimirovich Mahmudov, Secretary of the Security Council under the President. He has held this post since being appointed by First President Islam Karimov on September 21, 2013.

Alisherbek Azizovich Paygamov, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Presidential Administration.

Ulugbek Uchkunovich Kurbonov, Head of the Protocol of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Khayriddin Madriddinovich Sultanov, Advisor to the President – Speechwriter.
As a reminder, it was earlier reported that Ruslanbek Kuroltoevich Davletov had been appointed as Advisor to the President on Representative Bodies, Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations, Religion, and Youth Issues.
