The capital and Tashkent region will introduce a simplified procedure of temporary «Residence permit»

The procedure for registering citizens based on their temporary stay in Tashkent and Tashkent oblast will be further improved.  This is defined in the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers «On measures to introduce a new experimental procedure of registration of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the place of their temporary stay in Tashkent city and Tashkent region».

According to the decision, from 1 November 2022, to 1 September 2023, the electronic registration of citizens at their temporary place of residence will be organized as an experiment in the city of Tashkent and the Tashkent region.

Citizens are temporarily registered for not more than one year, as stated in the application of the owner or the lease agreement registered with the tax authorities, at the place of residence in Tashkent city or Tashkent region.

For temporary registration, citizens may apply:

•    Preventive inspectors at a convenient location;
•    Migration and Citizenship Registration Offices;
•    To public service centers;
•    On the Single Interactive Portal of Public Services (my.gov.uz).

The entry on temporary registration is a document confirming the fact of temporary registration of a citizen by place of residence.
