An appeal for assistance regarding a young girl severely burned in a heating boiler explosion was examined, as reported by the Children's Ombudsman.

J.J., born in 2008 and residing in Quyi Chirchiq district, Tashkent region, submitted a plea to the ombudsman, seeking ongoing medical support and financial aid for treatment after sustaining severe burns (90%) in a boiler explosion in her living room.

The children's ombudsman, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Prosecutor General's Office, investigated the case.

It was discovered that J.J., born in 2008, was admitted to the emergency room on 04.10.2023, following a serious burn injury. Over the next two months (04.10.2023-04.12.2023), she received necessary medical treatment and procedures.

Despite the complexity of the injuries and the need for constant medical monitoring, J.J.'s parents opted for home care after the initial hospitalization.

Currently, J.J. has received essential medical procedures and continuous medical supervision. Additionally, the regional Health Department is supplying the required medications for her regular treatment, and efforts are underway to gather the necessary medical documents to determine her disability allowance, according to the report.
