Producers of cocoon seed are subsidized

In Uzbekistan, producers of cocoon seeds will be subsidized.  This is provided for in the decision of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev "On measures for further development of the silk sector".

According to the decision, from 1 March this year to 1 January 2026, subsidies will be allocated to producers of cocoon processing and silkworm seeds.  Its amount is 120,000 soms for each box of seeds delivered by producers to breeders.

Also, starting from 1 April 2023, the only time limit for calculating overdue receivables from the enterprises of the ``Uzbek silk industry`` association for export operations of silk products produced by themselves is 360 days from the date of issuance of the customs cargo declaration. marked.

In addition, from 1 March 2023, the procedure for exporting raw silk will be simplified.

At the same time, the period of validity of tax and customs benefits provided by the President's decision will be extended until 1 January 2026.
