The amount of the average salary taken into account when calculating the pension has been increased. This was reported by the Off-Budget Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, starting from 1 January 2023, the upper limit of the average monthly salary accepted for calculating pensions will be increased from ten times to twelve times the basic amount of pension calculation.

According to this, the pensions of elderly persons whose average monthly salary is higher than 3 million 240 thousand soms will be recalculated.

Also, in December of this year, an SMS notification was sent to citizens whose pension will increase.

For information, the amount of pensions is recalculated automatically, and pensioners do not need to apply to the Pension Fund.
