Copies of letters sent by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to various world rulers, reproduced on papyrus, are planned to be exhibited at the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, the center’s press service announced.

The exhibition will feature a scientifically reconstructed copy of a letter sent to Emperor Heraclius, valued for its great spiritual and historical significance. Additionally, copies of letters addressed to the rulers of Ethiopia, Egypt, Bahrain, Oman, and the Persian king are expected to be included.

“These letters serve as historical evidence demonstrating not only the peaceful and diplomatic spirit of Islam but also the political wisdom and humanity of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh),” the report stated.

According to the Muslim Office of Uzbekistan, an original letter from Prophet Muhammad to Byzantine (Eastern Roman) Emperor Heraclius, inviting him to Islam, is preserved at the King Hussein Mosque Museum in Jordan. The letter was written in the Hijri year 7, during the month of Muharram, corresponding to 628 AD.
