Zookeeper killed by lions in Parkent: Criminal investigation launched

It was previously reported that three lions attacked and killed a zookeeper at a zoo in the Parkent district of the Tashkent region. A criminal case has now been opened in connection with this incident. The information was confirmed by Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office.
"A criminal case has been opened under Article 257 of the Criminal Code (Violation of labor protection rules) regarding the incident that occurred at the Parkent district zoo," Shamsutdinov stated.
According to the report, the criminal case has been handed over to the internal affairs bodies for further investigation.
