A criminal case was initiated after the illegal cutting down of trees in the Parkent

Earlier, we reported that 57 perennial trees were cut down in Tashkent region. A criminal case was initiated against the head of the beautification department after illegal cutting down of trees. This was reported by the regional prosecutor’s office.
As a result of irresponsibility in the process, in addition to the permitted trees, 7 trees were cut down. It is noted that 587,503,185 soms of damage was caused to the flora.
In connection with the situation, a criminal case was initiated against the head of the district improvement department and others under Article 198, Part 2 of the Criminal Code by the Tashkent Nature Protection Prosecutor’s Office.
