Paralympics-2024: Uzbekistan drops two places in the overall team score

Four days before the end of the 17th Paralympic Games in Paris, Uzbekistan's delegation fell two places to 12th place in the overall team standings.
On September 4, Uzbekistan's team won only one silver medal. Spain and Germany, who secured additional gold medals, surpassed Uzbekistan in the rankings, claiming 10th and 11th places, respectively.
Currently, India is the closest competitor to Uzbekistan. The Indian team has amassed 5 gold, 9 silver, and 10 bronze medals, totaling 24 medals. Other close competitors include Japan, which has 5 gold medals, as well as Thailand and Switzerland.
China, Great Britain, and the USA remain in the top three positions, and it is unlikely that the top three will change before the end of the competition.
