Paralympics-2024: Uzbekistan's place in the overall standings remained unchanged

With two days remaining before the conclusion of the 17th Paralympic Games in Paris, the Uzbekistan delegation holds 12th place overall. Despite adding 2 gold medals, these achievements were not sufficient to improve Uzbekistan’s position in the rankings.
Although the 2 gold medals allowed Uzbekistan to surpass Spain, Japan's strong performance on September 5 secured them 11th place. Uzbekistan has a total of 17 medals - 8 gold, 5 silver, and 4 bronze - while Japan has 28 medals - 8 gold, 8 silver, and 12 bronze.
German para-athletes, who are in the top ten, have accumulated 33 medals in total, with 9 gold, 9 silver, and 15 bronze. Spain is closely following Uzbekistan in the rankings, occupying 13th place with a total of 36 medals, just one gold medal short of surpassing Uzbekistan.
China, Great Britain, and the USA lead the top three positions. The Paralympics will conclude on September 8.
