Reports have circulated on social media claiming that a young child was thrown under a train at the Pakhtakor metro station in Tashkent. The Tashkent Metro State Enterprise has officially responded to the incident.
According to the statement, the incident occurred on June 26 at around 18:00. While exiting the train at Pakhtakor station, a 3-year-old girl accidentally got her leg caught in the carriage door due to the inattention of her companion.
The metro service clarified that the child was promptly given first aid, and an ambulance was immediately called to the scene. Fortunately, the child did not suffer any serious injuries.
