Following the 3rd round of the 4th stage of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, the chances of the Uzbekistan national team reaching the World Cup have surged to 93.1%. This update was reported by "We Global Football."
The recent victory over the UAE significantly boosted the "White Wolves" chances, increasing them by 10.3%. Currently, Uzbekistan ranks 4th among Asian contenders for the World Cup.
Leading the Asian continent is the Japanese national team, whose qualification chances are nearly at 100%. Iran follows in second place with a probability of 99.6%, while South Korea ranks third with 99.5%.
It is important to note that eight teams from Asia will qualify for the 2026 World Cup, with one additional team competing for a playoff spot. In this stage, the teams finishing first and second in their respective groups will secure direct qualification to the World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Meanwhile, the teams that place third will continue to vie for a place in the fourth stage of the qualifiers.
