Rahmonov cancelled the admonition administered by Artikkhojayev

The new mayor, Bakhtiyor Rahmonov, cancelled the punishment administered by the former mayor of Tashkent Jahangir Ortiqkhojayev against the mayor of Yashnabad district.

It is noted that by the order of Jahangir Ortiqkhojayev No. 245-14-0-F/22 of 4 November 2022, a disciplinary sanction was applied against Bakhtiyor Tuganbayevich Rahmankulov, the governor of Yashnabad district of Tashkent city.  On the order of the acting mayor Bakhtiyor Rahmonov dated 28 February of this year, it was determined that the  admonition penalty imposed on the district governor Bakhtiyor Rahmonkulov will be removed.

For information, according to Article 183 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the validity period of a disciplinary punishment cannot exceed one year from the date of its application.  If the employee is not subject to disciplinary punishment again within this period, he is considered not to have received disciplinary punishment.

An employer who has applied a disciplinary penalty has the right to remove the penalty even before the expiration of one year, at the request of the employee, or at the request of the labor team or the employee’s immediate supervisor.
