Opera artist Otabek Nazirov becomes honored artist of Uzbekistan

4051Opera artist Otabek Bakhodir oglu Nazirov of the State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan has been awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan." The decree was issued by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on January 25.
"For his brilliant talent, performing skills, his worthy contribution to the development of Uzbek opera art and our national culture, his worthy contribution to enhancing its glory, strengthening creative ties at the international level, allowing our people to enjoy world classical music, increasing the interest and affection of young people for the world of art, educating them in the spirit of love for the Motherland, respect for universal human values, and his active participation in social life, Nazirov Otabek Bahodir oglu shall be awarded the honorary title of "Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan", the decree states.
Otabek Nazirov, born on October 3, 1999, in Khiva, Khorezm region, comes from an artistic family. He studied at music school No. 5 in Urgench and the College of Arts before continuing his education at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, specializing in academic singing. After graduation, Nazirov joined the State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan as a leading soloist. In 2024, he won the XXVII International Vocal Competition named after M.I. Glinka.
It is worth noting that last year, on the 33rd anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, singers Ozoda Nursaidova, Alibek Kabdurahmanov, and Dilnoza Ortikova were also awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
