The order of extraction of gold and silver is determined

Henceforth, permits for the mining of precious metals by gold prospectors are issued on the sites of the subsoil, approved annually by the State Committee of Geology. This is stated in the charter of decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan «On the procedure for the implementation of activities for the extraction of precious metals by gold prospectors».

According to the charter, the subsoil site includes land having reliable gold deposits with clear contours and boundaries, up to 5 hectares. The sites of the subsoil will be placed on the portal «E-auction», and the starting price for per hectare will be set at 35 times the basic calculation amount BCA (9 450,000 som).

Permits are issued only to residents of Uzbekistan for 3 years based on the results of auction at the portal «E-auction». Prior to the commencement of excavation work, permit holders must notify in writing the authorities, environmental and industrial safety committees, mining and geological inspection.

According to the charter, extracted precious metals are sold to accepting offices or jewelry manufacturers.
