A Chairman has been elected to the Supreme Court

The Chairman of the Supreme Court Kozimjon Komilov was re-elected to his post.  The decision was adopted today 13 June, at the 27th plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that the president of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev submitted a proposal to the senate on the election of Komilov Kozimjon Fozilovich as Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.  The proposal was considered and approved by the senate members.

For reference, Kozimjon Komilov has been the head of the Supreme Court since May 2017.  The Chairman of the Supreme Court is elected every 5 years.
