Changes made to the composition of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan

Changes have been made to the composition of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as announced by the Supreme Council of Judges.

According to a decree issued by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on January 23, 2025:

- Abdurakhmon Bakayevich Safoyev was dismissed from the position of Deputy Chairman of the Namangan Regional Court and Chairman of the Judicial Board for Civil Cases based on his written application.
- Jamshid Shuhratilloevich Homidov was dismissed from the position of Deputy Chairman of the Surkhandarya Regional Court and Chairman of the Judicial Board for Economic Cases, also based on his written application.

In addition, the following individuals have been appointed to new positions in accordance with the same decree:

- Navruz Boboqulovich Rahmonov has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Tashkent Regional Court and Chairman of the Judicial Board for Civil Cases for a five-year term.
- Sardor Tokhirovich Jo'raboyev has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Syrdarya Regional Court and Chairman of the Judicial Board for Civil Cases for a five-year term.
- Abdunosir Abduhamidovich Egamberdiev has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Namangan Regional Court and Chairman of the Judicial Board for Civil Cases for a five-year term.
- Zoir Amanovich Rustamov has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Surkhandarya Regional Court and Chairman of the Judicial Board for Economic Cases for a five-year term.

Furthermore, during the 3rd plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis on January 25, the issue of changes to the composition of the Supreme Court was addressed. Following a decision by the Senate, the following judges were dismissed from their positions at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

- Navruz Boboqulovich Rahmonov
- Abdunosir Abduhamidovich Egamberdiev
- Zoir Amanovich Rustamov
- Abduvohid Abduqadirovich Qosimov
- Hasan Sunnatullayevich Egamberdiev
