The Chairman of the Supreme Court is dismissed from his post

The chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan Kozimjon Komilov was relieved of his post on 10 August.  This is reported by the source of QALAMPIR.UZ.

He was replaced by Bakhtiyor Islamov, an adviser to the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the coordination of the activities of law enforcement and control state bodies.

Komilov was re-elected to the post of chairman of the Supreme Court on 13 June at the 27th plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis (Parliament).  President Shavkat Mirziyoyev submitted a proposal to the Senate on the election of Kozimjon Fozilovich Komilov to the post of Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan for another term. This presentation was considered and approved by the senators.

For reference, Kozimjon Komilov has been working as the head of the Supreme Court of the country since May 2017.  The chairman of the Supreme Court is elected once every 5 years.
