The highest goal is to reach the World Championship – Ravshan Haydarov

On 1 March of this year, the matches of the Asian Championship among players under the age of 20 will start in Uzbekistan.  Today, on 28 February, a press conference was organized with the participation of the head coaches of the teams before the competition.  The first part of the press conference was attended by Ravshan Haydarov, the coach of the U-20 national team of Uzbekistan.

“As the host, we have made it our mission to go to the World Championship and become champions.  Players are ready to fight.  We have done all the planned work.  My students play with great enthusiasm, as they missed the previous competitions due to the pandemic.  We studied the opponents as much as possible, we have watched their friendly and official matches.  We have enough information.  Some players have minor injuries, but now everything is fine,” Haydarov says.

It should be recalled that the youth team of Uzbekistan took place in the “A” group of the tournament.  In the 1st round, Uzbekistan will play against Syria.  The starting whistle will sound on 1 March at 19:00p.m.
