Stocks of coal, gas, and food will be established in distant areas

Coal, gas, and food reserves will be established in some 500 distant villages.  This, «Correctness of measures to ensure the preparation of economic networks, social facilities and multi-apartment housing stock for sustainable operation in the autumn-winter period 2022/2023, » was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers, yesterday 23 September.

According to the decision, 2,967 apartment buildings, 299 gas distribution points, 1,815.3 km of drinking water networks, and 2,420 social facilities (including 13 schools, 74 hospitals, and clinics, 7 higher educational institutions, 47 cultural facilities, and 11 sports facilities.) will be renovated.

Also, 149 km of gas pipelines will be restored and repaired, and 314.4 thousand tons of liquefied gas will be delivered to 6,209 neighborhoods.  The number of pipelines will be increased.

In addition, a reserve of 1,680,000 tons of coal products will be created (of which 518,000 tons will be delivered to social facilities.)  Coal, gas, and food reserves will be established in 443 remote and inaccessible villages (ovules).
