Madina Fayzullayeva from Uzbekistan won 5 medals at the Asian weightlifting championship among youth and teenagers which is being held in Tashkent.  This was reported by the National Olympic Committee.

The athlete, born in 2005, took part in both junior and youth categories and won a total of 5 medals.  Participating in the -76kg weight category, Fayzullayeva achieved 82kg in the snatch, 106kg in the clean and jerk, and 188kg in the two wrestling events.  These weights brought him gold medals in all three categories in the junior category, and bronze medals in the youth category in lifting and overall.

Earlier, we reported that Diyorbek Ermatov and Jamila Panfilova won 2 medals each at the Asian Championship.

By the 7th day of the tournament, the national team of Uzbekistan has 33 medals.
