Weightlifting. Abrorbek Ma'rufbekov scored a golden hat-trick

Abrorbek Marufbekov from Uzbekistan won 3 gold medals at the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championship held in Tashkent.  This was reported by the Press Service under the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.

"Abrorbek Ma'rufbekov, the winner of the World Junior Championship, has proven that he is a leader of our continent among his peers," the report says.

It is noted that the athlete won 3 gold medals for his team, outperforming his competitors in all categories.

The results are as follows:

• Abrorbek Ma'rufbekov (Uzbekistan) - 299 (136+163) kg;
• Surajbek Sapayev (Turkmenistan) - 294 (135+159) kg;
• Amirhossein Sepah (Iran) - 290 (135+155) kg.

It should be noted that Abrorbek Ma'rufbekov won a bronze medal at the Junior World Championship in Leon, Mexico.

Earlier, we reported that Diorbek Ermatov, and Jamila Panfilova won 2 medals and Madina Faizullayeva 5 medals at the Asian Championship.
