In the 5th round of the international tournament, "Tata Steel Chess" held in the city of Wake-an-Zee, the Netherlands, one of the central matches of the competition took place between the current world champion in classical chess Magnus Carlsen and Nodirbek Abdusattarov from Uzbekistan.

The match took place in a very complicated way for both chess players, who were trying their best in the classical chess "duel" for the first time.

In the 6-hour-long game, Nodirbek forced the experienced Carlsen to defend, even though he was playing with the black pieces.

Abdusattorov, who had a one-pawn advantage during the last moves, eventually secured a convincing victory over Carlsen and became the sole leader of the international tournament with 4 points.
