Niagara Falls will be illuminated in the colors of the flag of Uzbekistan on Independence Day

On 31 August of the current year, on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan, Niagara Falls in Canada, one of the most popular tourist destinations in North America and the world, will be illuminated by the colors of the flag of Uzbekistan.  This is reported by the news agency “Dunyo”.

According to the reports of the Embassy, Uzbeks from different parts of Canada and the USA plan to come to the waterfall to see Niagara illuminated by the national flag.

n addition, the diplomatic office together with compatriots plans to celebrate Independence Day in the city of Niagara, where a solemn reception with Uzbek dances and songs will be organized, and guests will be invited to celebrate the 31st anniversary of independence.  An opportunity to taste the traditional Uzbek pilaf will be provided.

It should be that Niagara Falls was first painted in the colors of the flag of Uzbekistan last year in connection with the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan.

Each year, millions of tourists visit Niagara Falls.  The width of the waterfall is 792 meters, the height - is 53.6 meters, and the volume of running water - is 2.2 million liters per second. Niagara Falls night lighting system uses 1,400 individual lamps.
