Explosion at Navoi Azot Laboratory causes fire (video)

Today, March 11, a gas-air mixture explosion occurred at the Navoi Azot joint-stock company in the Navoi region, as reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The explosion took place at 14:10 in the laboratory of workshop 25, located on Navoi Street in the city of Navoi. The flash ignited a fire.

“Ten fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene and are currently working to extinguish the fire,” the report stated.

Additionally, officials including the head of the regional Emergency Situations Department, the Department of Internal Affairs, the Department of Health, and representatives from the prosecutor's office arrived at the scene.

The ministry also mentioned that more information will be provided. As of now, there have been no reports of fatalities or injuries from the incident.

It is worth noting that on March 10, two 9-ton containers caught fire in the yard of a gas station in the Kashkadarya region. As a result, two individuals suffered burn injuries.
