Navoi will be transformed into a model region of the country

Today, 25 November, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who is participating in the session of the People's Deputies of the Navoi region, put forward new initiatives to turn the Navoi region into a model region of the republic.

The first initiative will be a model for saving electricity in the region.

For this, 100 percent solar panels will be installed in all organizations.  A system of efficient use of all water pumps will be established.

The region will be transformed into a model region during the implementation of the second initiative - the "Green Space" project.  For this:

• a system of planting mulberries and grapes on the edges of fields will be established by all farmers;
• a model system of planting, processing, and selling basil and mint will be created in 330 neighborhoods and households of the region.

All conditions are created for the implementation of this initiative and special benefits and preferences are introduced.

The third initiative is the sharp development of goat and sheep breeding through the use of pastures.

200-300 thousand goats and sheep will be brought to the region and a separate program will be developed.

The fourth initiative is an example of saving up to 30% of resources in the construction of infrastructure facilities in the region.

The regional prosecutor will be responsible for implementing this initiative and creating a transparent system without corruption.  Sector leaders use this system.

He instructed the new mayor and all sector leaders to implement these initiatives and turn the region into a region where unemployment and poverty have been eliminated within a year.

At the end of the meeting, the head of state expressed his best wishes to the people of Navoi and wished everyone new successes.
