The heads of Ecology departments of Navoi, Kashkadarya, and Syrdarya regions are fired

The heads of the departments of Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Navoi, Kashkadarya, and Syrdarya regions were dismissed from their posts.  This was announced at the following meeting of the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection.

The meeting discussed such issues as the implementation of laws related to the environment, the implementation of presidential decrees and decisions, as well as the work carried out within the national project “Green space” and the implementation of ongoing work in the field of waste in the country.

At the meeting, a number of heads from regional administrations were dismissed after taking an irresponsible approach to their work.  That is, the heads of departments of ecology and Environmental Protection of the Navoi, Kashkadarya, and Syr-Darya regions.

Three responsible employees of the central apparatus of the State Committee on Ecology, the first deputy heads of three regional departments directly responsible for the national project “Green Spaces” were also brought to disciplinary responsibility, and the second deputy head of the regional waste management department was reprimanded.
