Today, 30 August, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree conferring the honorary title “People’s Artist” to Nasiba Abdullayeva from Uzbekistan. This is reported on the president’s website.

For services in the development of cultural relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan Nasiba Melikovna Abdullayeva is awarded the title of “People’s Artist”.

For reference, today the decree of the president of Uzbekistan “On awarding a group of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan” was adopted. According to this, Mammadova Gulyanak Zakir’s daughter was awarded the honorary title “People’s Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan.” In addition, three more people were awarded the Order of “Friendship”.
