President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan awarded a group of citizens of Uzbekistan with the Order of "Friendship." This was reported on the president's website.
They were awarded for their contribution to the development of cultural relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan:
• Khoshimjon Ismailov (People's Artist of Uzbekistan, famous musician Abduhoshim Ismailov);
• Nasirli Ali Khaydar’s son (activist of the Azerbaijani cultural center in Tashkent, Ali Nasirli, an Azeri poet from Syrdarya);
• Kamoliddin Turdimuratovich Orinboyev (Rector of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan).
Earlier, we reported that the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan awarded four citizens of Azerbaijan.
