The circulation of almost 3 kilograms of narcotics was stopped in Namangan

When a Cobalt car traveling on the Tashkent-Namangan route was checked in the Pop district, it was found that there was 1 kg 874 g of "opium" in its trunk.  This was reported by Uzbekistan News Agency.

According to the quick action conducted by the State Security Service of Namangan Region, the Regional Internal Affairs Department, and the Customs Department, this substance was transferred to the Bekobad District of Tashkent Region from Tajikistan through third parties.

Also, when a Lacetti car traveling on the Namangan-Tashkent route was stopped in the Pop district and inspected, it was found that it contained 901 grams of "opium" substance and that it belonged to a person who was travelling in the car as a passenger. It was found that this narcotic substance was transferred from Kyrgyzstan to the Namangan region through third parties. 

According to the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, criminal cases have been initiated in connection with these cases, and investigations are being carried out. 
It should be recalled that we reported that nearly 5 kilograms of narcotics imported from Tajikistan were confiscated in the Navoi region.
