In one case, a debtor citizen stabbed an officer of the Enforcement Bureau

A citizen stabbed an officer of the Enforcement Bureau in Torakorgan district of Namangan region.  This was reported by the Press Service of the Enforcement Bureau under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It is noted that on 10 April of this year at 15:40 p.m. an executive of the bureau, S.B., went to O.T.’s (the debtor citizen) residence to carry out mandatory enforcement actions for the recovery of a bank loan of 26,982,000 soms and other debts.

On arrival of the state bailiff at the apartment, it became known that the debtor was not there and he was called and asked to return home.  The debtor then gave various excuses as to why he couldn't return home.  

After that, the state executor was asked to come and provide information about the appointment of mandatory enforcement actions due to the non-liquidation of the debt.

The debtor O.T, became enraged and returned with a utility knife, with which he tried to stab the public executive in the chest in order to intentionally kill him.

While the debtor was chasing the state executive with the intention of killing him, the farm knife was taken off him by other state employees who were present at the enforcement actions.   

“In this case, on 10 April 2023, a criminal case was initiated by the Torakorgan District Prosecutor’s Office under Article 25, 97, Part 2 of the Criminal Code, and preliminary investigations are currently being conducted,” the message reads.  .
