Two Uzbek citizens have died from gas poisoning in Vidnoye, Moscow Region, according to Regions.ru.
It was reported that a resident of the building called emergency services after feeling unwell. Upon arrival, paramedics found that three people had died as a result of gas poisoning, while an elderly woman was in critical condition. The woman was hospitalized, and police arrived at the scene.
It was later established that an elderly couple had hired two workers from Uzbekistan to renovate the first floor of their home. The workers reportedly stayed overnight and are believed to have turned on a gas stove for heating.
It is worth noting that earlier reports said that an Uzbek citizen who had traveled to the Russian Federation for temporary work had died due to a severe kidney-related illness.
