Mishustin meets with Mirziyoyev

Today, September 10, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will continue visiting Tashkent. According to TASS, the agenda for the second day of the official visit includes a meeting with the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

It is reported that the President will receive the Russian Prime Minister in the Senate building of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Prime Minister had a busy schedule with his Uzbek counterpart, Abdulla Aripov. Together, they visited the Tashkent Technopark and the Victory Park memorial complex and held the fifth meeting of the joint commission at the level of heads of government of Russia and Uzbekistan.

Overall, Mishustin's visit is focused on continuing the implementation of agreements reached during Russian President Vladimir Putin's state visit to Uzbekistan on May 26-28, as well as deepening bilateral trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
