Mirziyoyev's visit to Kazakhstan concludes

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has departed for Tashkent following the conclusion of his state visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan and his participation in the summit of Central Asian leaders. This was reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.

It was noted that the state visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as his activities within the framework of the Central Asian leaders' summit, have successfully concluded.

In line with the visit's program, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan conducted a meeting in a narrow circle, followed by the inaugural session of the High Interstate Council in Astana. A series of bilateral agreements were signed, and a ceremony to launch joint projects was held.

The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, formally presented the highest state award of Kazakhstan, the "Golden Kiran" order, to the President of Uzbekistan, in recognition of his significant contributions to the strengthening of Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan relations.

The leaders participated in the unveiling of a statue of the eminent poet and philosopher Alisher Navoi in Kazakhstan's capital.

Today, the President of Uzbekistan took part in the sixth consultative meeting of Central Asian leaders, where he emphasized priorities for further strengthening regional cooperation.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev was also awarded the Medal of Honor by the Central Asian leaders for his outstanding services in fostering friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual understanding in the region.

Within the framework of the summit, a meeting was held with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during which issues related to further strengthening bilateral ties, good neighborliness, and strategic partnership were discussed.

At the conclusion of the visit, the esteemed guest was ceremonially seen off at Astana International Airport by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Alikhan Smailov. The President of Uzbekistan has now returned to Tashkent.
