Mirziyoyev and Pezeshkian exchange Eid al-Adha greetings

On June 5, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian. The call was reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.

During the conversation, the two leaders exchanged warm congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, extending their best wishes for peace and prosperity to the peoples of both countries.

They also discussed pressing matters related to the further development of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Iran. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the ongoing dialogue and cooperation at the level of governments, ministries, and departments.

The leaders emphasized the importance of advancing joint projects in trade, investment, transport and logistics, industry, and agriculture.

In addition, Mirziyoyev and Pezeshkian exchanged views on regional issues and outlined plans for future collaboration.

It is worth noting that during a previous phone conversation on April 1, the two presidents also exchanged congratulations on the occasions of Nowruz and Eid al-Fitr, wishing peace and well-being to the friendly peoples of Uzbekistan and Iran.
